looking back through my art and realize that I pretty consistently draw characters with one shoulder shorter and higher and the other longer and more sloping
specifically, the right shoulder is higher if it’s a head-on shot, the left shoulder if it’s a back view
suddenly realize oh yeah, that’s what my reflection looks like
“YOU CHEATING SCUM!” Lee Jordan was howling into the megaphone, dancing out of Professor McGonagall’s reach. “YOU FILTHY, CHEATING B —”
Professor McGonagall didn’t even bother to tell him off. She was actually shaking her finger in Malfoy’s direction, her hat had fallen off, and she too was shouting furiously.”
One of my absolute favorite bits in any of the Harry Potter books (even if I did forget to knock off Minerva’s hat).
I’ve been looking at different deer pictures while doodling the new asshole and so far this one is my favorite.
(Also I think we’ve got a serious contender for “hardest set of horns to draw in profile”.)
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man for anon, palette #6.
